Today was great. I saw the posting on FB and applied for the position noted in title. I was contacted via email with info regarding how to book the wardrobe appointment which was a very user friendly program. I was notified the appointment was registered via another email. Additionally, a reminder email was sent today regarding that appointment. My only question would be why, when I went to casting call on an entire separate day and stood in line with all the other folks to complete paperwork and have my photo taken, I had to find the posting of the opening on FB rather than received a phone call or email from that casting call? I see on FB lots of postings for positions that I could have fulfilled, but did not receive contact. I also saw a posting for a stand in for a friend who was perfect for the part in all the specifications including looking a lot like the star for whom he would stand in, but that was not discovered from the casting call--I informed him that I saw it on FB, he emailed his photo (again) and he was hired. For other movies, if I send in a photo and demographics the hiring is from there, but for this movie (or from this casting company) it seems to be happening mostly from FaceBook. The employees I have met so far have been fantastic--such as for the wardrobe fitting today--great, efficient, professional folks. As far as today goes--five stars. But overall, i'm gonna go three secondary to the way it seems that they are hiring.
